If you are using Retin-A, Renova, Tazorac, Differin or any other prescription exfoliators for skincare, discontinue use one week prior to the treatment. Avoid microdermabrasion, chemical peels, facial wax one week before treatment.

Do not pick or scratch skin. Chemical peels can cause a redding and peeling of skin in the days following the treatment. Even though skin may itch or burn early in recovery, it's important to resist the urge to rub or scratch the affected skin. Touching the treated area may increase the risk to infection.

For both body and facial waxing - any oral or topical antibiotics should be discontinued for one week prior to any waxing treatment. These medications compromise the integrity of the skin making it much more sensitive and will pull, rip, or burn the skin if used in conjunction with waxing. Very important!
